A place for naturals to come and relax
Every service at Kulture is extension-free and relaxer-free. We work only with your own Afro-textured hair, whether you come in for loc maintenance, a twist-out, a set of Kulture Koils or a Signature Blowout.
The studio is run by Courtney Beach Ben. Book a consultation and we'll talk through your natural hair goals and the care and styling options that suit your texture and lifestyle.
Courtney also teaches. In a Kurlfriend Foundations session you learn to care for and style your own hair, one-on-one, in the studio or live on Zoom.
And for wash day, leave it up to the Kulture Krew: our TLC Experience is a shampoo, treatment, trim and stretch blowdry, made for the day before a long-term protective style.

Learn to style your own natural hair, with Courtney coaching you
A one-on-one workshop built around you. We go through all five sections on your own hair, at your pace, and you pick the style track you want to master. This is hands-on: you style your own hair while Courtney coaches. Come with your hair in its natural state, no extensions.
In the studio

Private 1:1, four hours. You leave wearing your style, with a take-home kit valued at $100+.
On Zoom

Virtual 1:1, three hours. Add the shipped take-home kit for $125 and book at least 10 days out.
